Block Blast mechanic

A Block Blast happens when you completely fill a horizontal row or a vertical column. This is the main way you clear space in Blocky Blast Puzzle.

When a row or column is completed, the blocks disappear instantly, creating room for future placements. The game clearly highlights when a move will trigger a Block Blast, so you can spot clears before placing the block.

Bigger clears happen when multiple rows or columns are completed at once. These moments open the board dramatically and give you breathing room for the next set of blocks.

Blocky Blast gameplay

Gameplay moves in a simple loop where you place blocks, clear space, and place new ones again.

Each round, you are given 3 blocks. To keep playing, all 3 must be placed somewhere on the board. Where you place a block now can make the next few moves easier or harder.

Clean placements leave more empty space for the next blocks. Rushed moves often feel fine at first, then suddenly leave no place for the next set of blocks.

Scoring

You earn points by clearing rows and columns. Each clear gives you 10 points, and your score goes up as you clear more rows and columns.

The biggest score jumps happen when Block Blasts happen one after another. One clear leads to another, the board stays open, and your score starts climbing faster before you notice.

Combos

Combos trigger when you clear rows or columns across several moves without letting the board fill up with no clear rows. Each successful clear increases your combo count.

Combos act as a multiplier. The higher your combo, the more points each clear is worth. If no row or column is cleared within 3 moves, the combo resets, reducing how many points you earn and making it harder to keep space open.

For example, clearing one row during a fifth combo earns:

• 10 points × 5 combo = 50 points

• Classic: Classic mode offers endless block puzzle gameplay with no time limit. The goal is to last as long as possible before the grid fills and a new run begins.
• Adventure: Adds simple goals while keeping the same slow, relaxed pace. Each round tasks you with collecting red and blue gems by clearing the blocks that trap them.

Features

• Skip: Lets you bypass a full set of three blocks when they would immediately limit your board. This helps you recover from bad draws without stopping the run or forcing a restart. There are unlimited skips in every round.
• Color themes: Allow you to change the visual style of the blocks. Options include pink, light blue, pink-blue, neon, white, or the standard colours.
• Revive: When no moves remain, you can watch an ad to continue the run without losing your score. This turns a hard stop into a second chance to recover.
• Save block: Lets you store one block for later use. Drag a shape into the save box below the board to hold it until the right moment.

Achievements

• Total score: Tracks your highest score across all runs, unlocking bronze, silver, and gold milestones that show how much better your scores have become.
• Total destroyed blocks: Counts how many blocks you’ve cleared over time, rewarding consistent play and steady improvement.
